Moderne Communities was founded by Randy Bury. Before launching his own company, Randy spent almost a decade as a senior executive for one of the top 3 US public homebuilders. Under his leadership, his divisions closed over 7,000 homes and produced revenues north of $2 billion. His leadership, land acquisition, strategic positioning and service orientation established the Southern Nevada and Arizona divisions as three of the highest performing builders in the United States in terms of revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction. In 2004, he left behind corporate life to go out on his own and started Randall Martin. Under Randy’s direction, the company developed approximately 1,000 lots and closed 450 homes in its first three years of operations.
His more than 25 years of experience in home building, land acquisition and development form the backbone of his company today. Bury attended The Ohio State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He continued his education at the university’s Fisher School of Business, earning his MBA in Finance and Real Estate. He’s been named “Who’s Who” in real estate development by Builder and Developer Magazine. He is an active member of the Southern Nevada Homebuilders Association (SNHBA), Urban Land Institute and the National Association of Homebuilders.
